Hello World!

My name is Tadas, and I am a full-stack engineer.
I always look for new ways to optimize existing code, create new features, and stretch the boundaries of programming with creative solutions. Most of my programming skills have been self-taught through reverse-engineering of open-source code and experimentation. Programming is not just my job, but my hobby as well. Outside of work I spend much of my time either learning, or challenging myself with programming in different mediums. Over the past 11 years, I have founded and managed multiple programming communities, built/organized servers, and designed/coded many projects to further grow my skillsets.

At Amazon, primary IDE is IntelliJ
DFnet's custom software, DFdiscover

My Principles

Customer Focused
Everything I do should have the customer as the focus. I strive to deliver not just what the customer expects, but to go beyond with every deliverable. Build customer trust and respect incrementally, with purpose.

Quality Invokes Quantity
Time spent refining the foundation ensures the components that we build around it have more quality. Doing it right means we spend less time going back and fixing mistakes. Higher quality output will result in easier development of higher quantity.

Release, Review, Revise, Repeat
Nothing is perfect on first attempt. Learn by iterating quickly and reviewing past work. Take what works, drop what doesn’t, and push the boundaries. Perfection is not a destination, rather, it is a journey.
